Once God prepared the earth, he then formed the man from the dust of the ground and breathed life into him. Adam didn’t come from time and chance or evolutionary happenstance. He came from God. God declared it was not good for man to be alone and he made the woman.

1 Timothy 2:1-10

Churches are made up of various kinds of people at various stages of life. Because of this, it is important to consider the different groups of people in the church and how they should interact. In this section of Timothy, Paul explains how a church is, in a sense, a spiritual family where older men should be like fathers, older women like mothers, and young men and women should love each other like brothers and sisters, without sexual contact.
